On a lark, I applied to be an extra (they wanted short old people) for the movie Get Low--about an old guy (played by Robt. Duvall) who wanted to put on and attend his own funeral in 1938, in rural TN--based on a true story. Bill Murray, Cissy Spacek, Gerald McCraney, and Lucas Black are also in it.
Even though the days (only 2 of them at this location) were long and got pretty chilly near the end, it was a lot of fun!
